Lake Tully

All the pretty ladies at the lake.

The ortho way to drink at the lake :)

Me and Mia at Tully Lake!

Brian's preferred way of "sporting" mia in her pink life jacket.

Mia's favorite place was on the very tip end of the canoe, go figure!

Kistler Family out on a canoe! A canoe that I was reassured would NOT tip over :)

SUMMER FUN with the kids

A few of MANY self photos of the three of us...or rather attempts at taking our picture, usually someone is spacing out or being goofy for the camera :)

GIRLS KICK BUTT CLASS!

There were too many awesome punch/kick/elbow photos to post, so here are just a few favorites! My mom used me as the example :) Wow was I sore the next day! Judith and Julie were especially hilarious and intense! Thanks again to all that came to the class, it was a lot of fun!

MY MOM CAME TO VISIT ME!!!

For Mother's Day weekend, my mom was in town!! We magically made it snow for her :) (yes its MAY!!) and then we took her to Niagra Falls (Canada side) we ooohed and ahhhed and then we took a long nap on the way home. Then we took her to tokyo seoul for dinner :)
Dear Mom,
You are AWESOME! You are my best friend! I love how we can pick up right where we just left off. I loved having you in town and having you ALL to MYSELF! I loved every minute of every day we spent together, it was such a special treat to have you at MY house for the first of many times. Can't wait to see you again soon!
Love you, christina

Rochester ZOO

We had heard the Rochester Zoo was awesome...it was okay. The penguins (inside the three cubby holes) were super sad. Their tank was ususally filled with water but on the hot 80 degree day it was drained for some reason...maybe they didn't clean their rooms? :P Then we had blue kiddie popsicles to cool off after some intense competition with Brian and a little girl inside the learning center!

Baseball Hall of Fame

Brian had a BLAST at the Baseball Hall of Fame...I enjoyed about the first hour and then I was done... But we saw lots of baseball hero's, a whole wall of no hitter baseballs and so much more! It really is a must see if you are a baseball lover! :)

WEEKEND in RoChEsTeR!

Ok, some of these are a little out of order :) but we had fun, thats all that matters!

Butterfly Garden

The cute little turtles that I scared the crap out of when my camera flash went off! :) oops!

Butterfly Kisses?

The Butterfly Chrysalis were B E A utiful!!

Brian especially had a blast inside the butterfly exhibit, he went a little crazy taking photos of the butterflys...ummm yeah...

STRONG Museum of Play

we played our little hearts out at the STRONG Museum of Play in Rochester, NY. There were a lot of really cool exhibits, we especially loved the shadow wall at the end!

BIRTHDAY CREATION!

Seth, Emma and I worked extra hard to make a SPECIAL Birthday present for their Mom and Dad, because they deserved it! We hand created an art display, now they can see Seth & Emma's artwork anytime they walk down the hallway. :)

Skaneatles Lake with Mia

Again, another quick day trip with Mia right after the snow had left, and things were still in the brown range. Skaneatles Lake has this awesome walkway with castle-like stone walls along them.

Babyhoot COMPETITION!

At a local kid friendly craft show I was recently put across from some great competition. This shop (which I will not name) had great displays that I was incredibly envious of... Now I just need to get crafty and come up with some of our own AWESOME BABYHOOT DISPLAYS :) Competition is the best motivation sometimes.

Erie Canal Park

On a nice afternoon mia and I wandered down to the Erie Canal Park, just minutes from our place. It turned out to be a nice secret area. We went a few weeks ago when the snow had just melted so things were still brown everywhere. :) The funniest thing happened, Mia and I spotted a family of BEAVERS! At first I thought they might be otters, I couldn't think of the right name for the animal... They saw Mia sitting on the edge next to the water and came back around and splashed her on purpose, it was a hoot!
