the DOCTORS have made their way back to the cookie sheets again...

This year I opted for melted colored chocolate (hardens faster and stacks better than frosting) and gave surgical masks as well as stethescopes. Last year Julie and I made them wear scrubs and masks :)

SNOW is here!

Mia couldn't wait another minute to get outside! She practically beat the bell off the string so I would take her outside after watching the snow falling through the window. She ran around in circles for about ten minutes and had her head shoved into the snow the entire time...nice! But, at least Mia and I are excited to have some snow here finally :) I love the snow (especially when it doesn't interfere with my normal day routines...)

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

We've decided to save our stamps and do a blog christmas card this year.

Thank you everyone for a fabulous year together. We love all of our family and friends and couldn't have gotten through the year without you!

All our love,
The Kistlers
Brian, Christina & mia

paging Dr Mia!

DR MIA PLEASE REPORT TO SURGERY! :) thanks for halloween super sale (after the celebrations of course) we found mia her very own doctor scrubs, the first outfit of hers that Brian actually LOVED! He even admitted it! YES!!

Happy CHANUKAH!

Thanks again for showing us how to celebrate Chanukah, Wilkofsky Family! We had a wonderful time, delish latkes and chicken cutlets (thanks to the fab Grandma Emmy!!) and I brought along my best attempt at "dreidel pops"!

Santa Babies

Just a funny little afternoon indoors with the kidlets, thought they might find our santa hats funny...and they did! hilarious giggles filled the room as I snapped happily away

Oh, Christmas TREE!

Oh what a funny Christmas Tree adventure story to tell from this year...I convinced Brian to go out to a new cut-your-own christmas tree farm (locally owned) about an hours drive away in the cold weather. But, we forgot to go prepared, i.e. snow, instead we were each in sweatshirts and had wimpy gloves...oops! At least Mia had her furry pink coat, she actually stayed inside my sweatshirt the whole time which in turn kept me warmer, phew! But after trekking out on the wagon ride to find the perfect tree, we cut it down and carried it back to the road. And we froze our butts off in the meantime but it was a hoot!
p.s. we still keep finding mia sitting under the christmas tree "standing guard" we say, maybe she doesn't know how this whole santa bringing the presents thing works...

a night out on the town...

We had the privilage of attending the Ortho Gala again this year (last year I went with friends while BK was on call-) and had a wonderful night! It was fun to get dressed up, Brian even got to wear his "mobster" trench coat as we call it, and its always fun to have a nice dinner out with dancing, music and friends.
