Sterling Renaissance Festival

Mike & Amy took me to the Renaissance Festival a short drive away and it was a day to remember! I ate a giant turkey leg and a huge piece of chocolate cake :) yummy!! We watched a jousting competition that was more than entertaining and saw many enthusiasticly dressed people. There was also (pictured) a pirate's "walk the plank" although in this skit you actually sat in the chair and were dunked...or so it looked, we didn't see the show. Thanks for the awesome day guys!!

someone's hiding...

...in mommy's closet with her clothes... We had some thunder storms today and she was nowhere to be found.

monkey butt

Dear Grandma Lorena,
Can you please find me a new monkey butt to chew on? I have loved on this one even more than the photos shown above and it currently looks mummified. Thanks.
Love, Mia

We sold out of our cupcake pops, gave samples away to everyone who passed by and got the word out that Babyhoot and Cupcake Pops are AWESOME! But you already knew that!

HAPPY 3RD ANNIVERSARY!

Brian and I just celebrated our third anniversary recently, and it was a wonderful night. We ate sushi/teriyaki at my current favorite restaurant, then headed home for a tent full of surprises. I have the most thoughtful husband in the world. :)

Jordy Boo is 1/2 years old!

Little Jordy Boo is sporting a "my dad's a hottie" bib, babyhoot curly bow, babyhoot burpcloths and "I heart mommies boobies onesie (breast cancer awareness)"! We can't believe our friends baby is halfway there already, its awesome watching her grow up so quickly. WE LOVE YOU JORDY BOO!

Graduation Dinner

Time to break out that black tie! :) We celebrated with fellow ortho residents who were getting ready to "graduate" from the program here. We will miss them....sometimes!

Sushi Night

We decided to try sushi with all of our friends...I do not care for it unfortunately. I would love it if there was no seaweed around the outside and no fish eggs on the top. Sorry Jules, thanks for trying to help me though! p.s. Jordy-boo enjoyed sucking on her lips and making silly faces at us all night.

Christina and Jordy boo!

BRUSH YOUR TEETH!!

After Mia's recent doctor visit, we realized dogs really do need their teeth brushed on a regular basis! They suggested daily and we laughed. So for those days we cannot brush her teeth, we give her treats shaped like a toothbrush. Ok, it does more than just look alike, its the Greenies brand of treats, helps cut back tartar and so on...

my newest genius idea!!

TA-DA!! Its a puppy party pinata! (woah say that 5 times fast!) It is stuffed full of dry dog biscuits and toys as well as toys and biscuits protruding from random holes throughout the pinata. It was kinda heavy too!

mia's surgery

As most of you may have heard, our little puppy mia had to have some minor oral surgery this past week. She had what they said was an infected/rooted/adult tooth that got knocked lose and needed to come out. She enjoyed her pampered meals of chicken and rice, yum yum! And was absolutely histerically funny with the anesthesia when she came home...not to mention a little bit needy! But we love her and she is all better now! ps we brush her teeth regularly now too!

I Love Mommy's Boobies! :)

Our first time participating in a Breast Cancer Awareness walk! We had a great time, the weather held out for us, and we supported a great cause!

Hoppy late EASTER!

Are you T W I N S ? ? ?

AND THE ANSWER ONCE AGAIN IS NOOOO!!! Thought we needed to clear this one up one more time here...Karis asked me at dinner one night during our visit, "are you and Lacey twins?" I said, "no, why do you think that?" Karis replied, "well, you just look a lot the same." We beg to differ! :) And Karis is not the first person to ask this, it has become more commonly asked lately...
