"Hut Hut Dolf"

You know...miniature golf! Karis called it "hut hut dolf" last time we went. There is a great outdoor place just a few minutes from us, our favorite hole was the game one, it lit up and everything! p.s. I won and BK is still pouting!!

Syracuse Art Festival

Sunday Brian and I went downtown to check out the Fine Arts Festival. It was a sea of local photographers, handcrafted items, and funky music groups and performers. We met one photographer that had taken photos of Arches National Park in Utah, we loved those photos! I also saw one tent that had misc. items made from recycles pop cans. He made them into different things like palm size airplanes, boats, etc.

1/16th of a sheep

Dave and Judy brought Mia some Serta sheep from Chicago. She devoured the first one and I just gave her the second one... They were both 1/16th sheep, so since this is the 2nd one does it make it 2/16ths???

here birdy birdy

Yesterday Mia noticed a small baby bird lying on the ground while she and I took a walk outside. I didn't even see it because it was able to blend in so well with the rocky area around it. I think the bird had a broken leg or couldn't fly. We told the maintainence people about it but they didn't do anything... then when we went back all of it was gone except for a few feathers...needless to say... LUNCH!

mia's poor tummy

Last week Mia went to the vet and she suggested putting Mia on a special boiled chicken and rice diet to easy her tummy aches. She is no longer on this diet, thank goodness, as you can see the mess she made each time she ate! she also was creative in getting rice stuck in random spots on her body and throughout the house....

Our New Home

Our first night back in our new home and just a few seconds later we found Mia asleep on the floor with her ducky's wing covering her face!

Happy Anniversary!

June 17th, 2008
Brian and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary! It's weird because it feels like it's been sooo much longer than that!

Montana Trip 2008

Brian and I were fortunate enough to be in town when the rest of the family was planning a trip to Montana to visit our grandparents. It was a great trip spending time with everyone! Photos captured Kaylie and her normal welcome expression, Mia trying to stand the heat, Auntie Linda helping Kyle and our new cousins catch grasshoppers, a group photo shot and Lacey and myself riding the little red airplane together.

hanging out in Seattle...

Karis and I just hanging out in Seattle. I love being able to spend so much time with our families and especially Kyle, Karis and Kaylie because they all seem to grow up so fast when I am not here!

ho hum at the airport...

During our attempt to fly the 5 of us (Brian, Christina, Mom, Dave & Judy) back from NY to Seattle, we ran into a few obstacles. After some lost sleep, a few slot machines and finding our disappearing luggage we all made it back in one piece and after only a few extra plane rides.

Go Karts and Bumper Cars!

All the guys and little guys had a blast enjoying the go karts and bumper cars at Long Beach. Brian spent a few laps chasing Brody and everyone had a blast bumping each other in the bumper car ring.

Mia at the beach

Mia got to experience the beach for the first time this past weekend! She loved the sand, ate tons of it the first day and ended up with a tummy ache from it all. She also enjoyed running away from the waves, digging large holes in the sand and burying her head in the sand and leaving it there! She traveled with us around town in my green messenger bag with just her head popped out of the top, what a good dog!

Long Beach weekend

Over the Memorial Day weekend we spent time with Brian's family and extended family at Long Beach, WA. The weather was nice, the food was great and we had a wonderful time!

Good Clean Dog

Mia sporting her just bathed mohawk look in the new house!

surprise graduation party!

Surprise Dr Kistler! Brian had no clue but we had to surprise him to celebrate his accomplishments! Kyle even made a special poster for him with an outline of a body and he names and spelled out all of the different parts!

Graduation Fun!

We had the chance to celebrate graduation with all of our friends as well as our families! Thanks for making it special everyone!

goodbye Milwaukee, hello New York!

Our move from Milwaukee to Syracuse, NY was sad but refreshing. We are happy to move to a new area but are sad to leave all of our friends that we have made.
