Mr & Mrs

What a fun weekend away! We had a blast getting fancy and helping the new Dr & Mrs. Van Valkenburg celebrate in style! We danced our butt's off and everyone loved the tuxedo & wedding dress cupcake pops.

Our first CAMP trip together (albeit an overnighter) was fantastic! We set up camp. Correction, the kids and I set up two large tents all on our own, a real olympic event! Then we had lunch and headed down to the beach for the day. After our sun, sand and water, we attempted a nap and movie time. Then off to make dinner and get dirty. The kids enjoyed every minute I think :) and a huge thanks to our friends who joined us to make the camping trip even more fun!

Syracuse Balloon Fest



Jamesville Beach hosts a fabulous Hot Air Balloon Festival each year, this time I talked Brian into going! So, we went. And I LOVED IT! I had never seen a hot air balloon, believe it or not. It was almost magical watching them float up into the air so quickly.

Lucy is growing up

Before we know it, Lucy's 1st birthday will be here! She has grown up so much lately. She is finally able to get herself in and out of the bed using the step. She stopped her disgusting habits. She is 99% potty trained and she is a great watch dog. Her favorite thing to do other than playing outside or going for long walks, is to sit by the screen door and talk back and forth with her neighbor friend heidi.

the BUNNY came!

some bunny brought some easter treats. their favorite was the sock monkeys and pretend sushi, but the bunny also hid tiny treats in eggs and made the puppies find them. now that was fun!

we're still letting it all sink in, the thought of sandy beaches and warm summer weather year long sounds amazing. and we still have over a year to finish here in Syracuse, so let the fun begin!

Happy Birthday Mama! I love you and miss you so so so much! I can't wait for you to come and visit, and have you all to myself! Hope your birthday is full of sweet things, even if I'm not there. :)

we enjoyed a very fun superbowl football party with our ortho family friends, there was lots of food and funny commercial breaks

Lulu turned into a lady

Lulu had her surgery, she is now a lady. She was very sad and we brought her home the night of her surgery, talk about heart breaking. She cried and wimpered, making me cry. :( but the next day she was better and now she is running laps around us all. Just don't tell her doctor- she still has a few days of "rest"...
