more new SUPERHERO models for Babyhoot!

Kona + Mia = TROUBLE

When these two get together, they put all their brains into one pot and see what they can come up with... This was the two of them inside the house while the block party was going on outside. Kona pulled the curtain aside and mia propped herself on the windowsill. Mission Accomplished!

Niagra On The Lake

FINALLY! We had a chance to visit the Niagra On the Lake area just outside of the Niagra Falls touristy area. It was B E A U tiful! And so cute with its little town charm, horse-drawn carriages and all! And there were some very interesting looking fruit/vegetable plants? No idea, looked like a cross between a berry and a tomato but the thorns on the vines were SHARP!

I'm Bringing Home A Little...

BABY BUMBLEBEE! (that eats wood, p.s. !) I had never heard of this kind of bee before moving here to NY. They literally drill holes into wood, these particularly annoying ones are in the steps up to my front door. And not only that, they are HUGE! Like, we're talking bigger than a quarter! And loud as can be, can you tell how much we don't get along? Bummer this one in the photo didn't make it past the drill work!

BLOCK PARTY

A few weeks ago I went to an awesome BLOCK PARTY, the kids were the life of the party! And they were fascinated with having big boy milk in the cooler with the grown up drinks. :)

Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3!

First I tried to catch the sunset but mia needed to "tinkle" a few too many times first so we missed the good parts. SO instead, we practiced using the automatic timer. I'm thinking I just need a camera remote control...

1. I wish I knew how to blog better, the templates/tools confuse me sometimes.
2. Like Sarah, I too am afraid of flying. Mia (our dog) has been certified as my "emotional needs pet" and flies with me to help ease the anxiety.
3. I have started (trying) to write a book about being married to someone in a medical residency. Its not all fun and games, unlike the stereotypes.
4. I love camping, except for the bug bites.
5. I am a TV addict, I can't sit still on the couch and watch TV, but I like to have it on while I do other productive things.
6. Mike & Sarah's traveling is inspiring to me :) thanks for the awesome blogs about your trip!
7. I am a much nicer person in the afternoon if I take a 30min-1hour nap :) or longer...
8. Since I was a baby, I only sleep well in MY OWN BED
9. The newest craft expedition is getting some scrapbooks made. I just feel like I have no clue so I havent started yet. I've heard to start small, so I'll try it that way.
10. I LOVE frozen yogurt! The only kind I know of in Syracuse is Yogen Fruz ? and its a probiotic kind, not the tastiest all the time but probably healthier than the other frozen yogurts.

Summer activities with the kidlets...

A very hot day at the zoo. They prefer the pretend tiger to the real ones.

We love feeding the ducks & geese at the Manlius duck pond, even if they get a little too friendly some days.

Brian and I went out to Cazenovia Lake to watch their fireworks show, it was spectacular! We treated ourselves to popsicles from the Ice Cream Man and sat in the back of my car to watch the show.
