Karis and I just hanging out in Seattle. I love being able to spend so much time with our families and especially Kyle, Karis and Kaylie because they all seem to grow up so fast when I am not here!
During our attempt to fly the 5 of us (Brian, Christina, Mom, Dave & Judy) back from NY to Seattle, we ran into a few obstacles. After some lost sleep, a few slot machines and finding our disappearing luggage we all made it back in one piece and after only a few extra plane rides.
All the guys and little guys had a blast enjoying the go karts and bumper cars at Long Beach. Brian spent a few laps chasing Brody and everyone had a blast bumping each other in the bumper car ring.
Mia got to experience the beach for the first time this past weekend! She loved the sand, ate tons of it the first day and ended up with a tummy ache from it all. She also enjoyed running away from the waves, digging large holes in the sand and burying her head in the sand and leaving it there! She traveled with us around town in my green messenger bag with just her head popped out of the top, what a good dog!
Over the Memorial Day weekend we spent time with Brian's family and extended family at Long Beach, WA. The weather was nice, the food was great and we had a wonderful time!
Surprise Dr Kistler! Brian had no clue but we had to surprise him to celebrate his accomplishments! Kyle even made a special poster for him with an outline of a body and he names and spelled out all of the different parts!
Our move from Milwaukee to Syracuse, NY was sad but refreshing. We are happy to move to a new area but are sad to leave all of our friends that we have made.
While we were away in Chicago, the Smith family was nice enough to puppy sit for Mia. Ian had the most fun with her I think, here he is keeping her company and "nuggling i.e. snuggling" with her in her bag!
We finally made it to Chicago! I took my first train ride, Brian took a nap during the ride! We met up with Dave & Judy and Kathy & Doug and saw Sears Tower and took the red double decker bus tour, it was wonderful!
Poor Mia has the sad traveling blue's! I think she thinks we are going to leave her each time we have started packing, which in case you don't know has been happening often lately.
Holly and Mia spent quite a lot of time together while we stayed in Seattle. Mia liked to irritate Holly by chasing her ever flapping tail. Poor Holly!
Mia anxiously awaits Brian while we stop for gas on our super long road trip back to Milwaukee. Brian had to stop and wash the bug guts off at each gas stop! ugh!
ATA! TAEKWONDO! I finally had the chance to watch Kyle and Karis test for their new belts while Brian and I were in town visiting.
